The official conference hotels are Cambridge Suites and the Holiday Inn, both located on the Sydney Waterfront, within easy walking distance of each other.  A block of 50 rooms has been reserved at each hotel at a special conference rate ($149 + tax). Free transportation to and from the conference site at Cape Breton University (approximately 10km away) will be available from a location in-between these hotels.  The conference sessions will be held at the university and social events on the waterfront. If you book one of the official hotels, please be sure to identify yourself as coming to the conference so you get a discount and we get credit for using the room blocks we set up.

There are other accommodation options you can find on your own, but please be aware that there are limited bus routes that reach campus.  Renting a car or calling a taxi is probably going to be necessary if you choose a different option from ones above. There are several hotels in the Sydney area (within 20 minute commute to Cape Breton University) providing approximately 850 hotel rooms, with a few also located along the waterfront. There are limited offerings on AirB&B and also approximately 25 traditional Bed & Breakfast lodgings within a 20 minute drive to the university.
