Alastair Henry is Professor of Language Education at Lund University, and University West, Sweden. His main fields of interest are L2 motivation, multilingualism, teaching practice and language teacher identities. He has published articles in leading journals and is the co-author and co-editor of several books, including the Palgrave handbook of motivation for language learning with Martin Lamb, Kata Csizér and Stephen Ryan.
